Rita L. Peterson, ASID, CAPS, is a graduate of Interior Design Institute, Denver, Colorado. She has been practicing interior design for over 25 years, working with area residential and commercial design firms before founding ABD (Associates in Building & Design, Ltd.)in 1990. Rita attained her professional status of ASID in 1989. In 1998-99 she was President of the Colorado Chapter of ASID, served on the Board of Directors of the same. Rita also was President of CIDC (Colorado Interior Design Coalition)and has served on the National ASID Ethics Committee, Colorado State University Advisory Council for Design and Merchandising Department, and the Lincoln Center Design Board. She has been awarded many times for her achievements in the design profession. Rita is the first Colorado designer to achieve the Certified Aging in Place Specialist certification in 2002.

Fee Structure

Rita or one of ABD's designers (best suited for you) will meet with you personally to listen to your needs, determine your scope of work and budget, discuss our expertise, services, and fee structure while allowing both parties to become comfortable with each other before we embark on this sensitive and important design path. ABD will provide a written Letter of Agreement outlying our fees following this informative meeting.
