Diann Sill is an ASID award winning designer with over 35 years experience in most all areas of interior design, including residential, hospitality and commercial. Her projects have included both regional and international work.

Diann Sill Design began in the mid 1980s driven by a passion for excellence in design and personalized service for the discriminating client. After working for large design and architectural firms and with broad experience designing many residential and commercial projects, Diann realized the ideal approach to offer the best in design and service was to maintain a small discriminating design business.

Diann holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with majors in Interior Design and Design from the University of Kansas at Lawrence, Kansas. Diann maintains professional membership in ASID, the leader in the interior design profession and NCIDQ, the national qualification for Interior Design.

Diann has been appointed by 2 sitting Governors and is serving her 6th term as the Interior Designer for the Capitol Building Advisory Committee of the State of Colorado. In this position she has also served on or headed numerous committees including the committee that commissions Presidential portraits for the gallery in the State Capitol.

Diann builds relationships both with clients and the other “team members” working on a project, which is the path to the most successful project result. “Whatever is best for the project” is the mantra.

Diann’s projects are so varied in style she likes to say her style is "good design". That aside she is so adaptable that the best in design principles are applied to traditional or modern. Her portfolio includes traditional and contemporary, American, French and English styles. Additional specific styles include Southwestern, Mountain and Island. Most often she is creating a style that will be uniquely yours, such as Tuscany, Wyoming, Antique Contemporary Asian or Colorado French. Of late designs are becoming more contemporary or "cleaner". The unifying theme seems to always include comfort and a skilled use of color.

Diann designs every project herself and is not passing off this nurtured part of your project to a design assistant. She includes on the team many craftsmen and artisans to create a well designed, exclusive project that will be uniquely yours. It is common for her to custom design numerous products and furniture for a client.
