Designer Profile

For the past ten years Erika has worked for diverse companies on a wide range of projects. While consulting for a Denver Architectural firm Erika has designed numerous commercial, interior projects and developed solid working relationships with the architectural and contract team. As a residential designer Erika’s passion is to create functional, exceptional and lasting design. The foundation of Erika’s career is her Bachelor of Science, in Interior Design degree from Colorado State University. In addition to her education and experience Erika has an innate eye for balance and proportion, resulting in harmonious interiors that maximize color, texture and lighting. World travel, which includes a two-year Peace Corps stint in the Republic of Vanuatu, has been influential in expanding Erika’s design vision.

Kitchen Remodel
This sumptuous home is moody yet convivial, merging old world with contemporary style. The classic architectural base is enlivened by a rich color pallet that is then amplified by varied patterns and textures.
Revived yet relaxed is how you feel after a treatment at Voodoo Hair Lounge. The vibe is funky, chill and very down to earth just like the owners. How do you achieve a space that exudes those elements? Try a lot of chemistry. Warm meets cool on the color spectrum. Dramatic lighting that in one instance is very Art Deco and the next organic and alien with an overall soft effect. It’s the juxtapositions in color, texture and genre that create such a dynamic space.
Asian fusion meets modernity. Floating cabinetry, European sinks and fancy fabric lighting simply add flair and sophistication.
The retro, “jazzy” feel of this Denver nightclub is accomplished with Sputnik lighting and artsy metal railings. Velvet drapes enclose private parties and help modulate sound, while the custom booths lend a plush yet fun element.
